I provide information and proven therapies to help you gain insights, heal old wounds, and bring about lasting change for your clients. Counselling can be one of the most important and life-changing steps a person may take. I'll be there to support you as you help to make change for others.

As a Therapist, I have 15 years of experience working with children, adolescences, and adults, in not-for-profit environments .

I know that placing your trust and hope in the hands of another is among the most difficult decision one can make. I understand the importance of this choice, as well the feelings of vulnerability you may feel in taking this first step. Finding someone with whom you can trust to help support change while you improve the balance in your life and success in your future endeavours can be a challenge.

I believe that by focusing on individual strengths and abilities can help to empower change, learning and acceptance.  I believe every person is entitled and deserving of respect, privacy and safe, confidential services.  As a resident of the Niagara Region I bring 15 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults.  Holding an MA in Counselling, Psychology, I bring my hands on work experience and education to provide you quality, confidential counselling, with you in the drivers’ seat.

My greatest interest is to support the healing and change of individuals and groups that I engage because if it is important to you, it is important to me and it is worth talking about it. I engage individuals and groups in client-centered and solution-focused interactions, meaning we focus our discussions on solutions not generalities. I provide confidential, compassionate, non-judgemental and professional counselling services to individuals to promote a healthy, fulfilling, and meaningful life.

I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) student in the Master of Arts Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University, working under the supervision of Larisa Fry. I work from a client-centred approach, emphasizing client experiences to determine best practices. Working from this approach, I listen and understand the individual and their uniqueness in each session. Years of experience working with vulnerable and marginalized populations allowed me to create an approach where I work towards creating a therapeutic alliance that includes genuineness, cooperation, and a sense of security and empowerment using client strengths and resilience.  With the aim of assisting clients in managing the pressures of life, I draw upon cognitive-behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused methods.
