Addictions Counsellor Focus: Addiction recovery Treatment Approaches
I am an addiction counsellor, I am a yoga and meditation teacher, and I am a person living a full life recovered from addiction to alcohol, drugs and codependency. I am sober today, after spending 18 years trapped by the cycle of addiction and recovery. My recovery is thanks to a 12-step program and the tools and techniques of yoga. I developed the Rediscovery program to teach others the skills and steps towards their own recovery. Start your own journey to your true self and finally break your cycle of addiction. As a spiritual being in recovery from drugs and alcohol, I've completed these courses and obtained the following certifications relating to yoga and addiction recovery:
“The most exquisite paradox… as soon as you give it all up, you can have it all. As long as you want power, you can't have it. The minute you don't want power, you'll have more than you ever dreamed possible.” - Ram Dass |
